Safeguarding in the
Clarendon Churches
The Churches that comprise the Clarendon Team take their responsibilities surrounding the safeguarding of children, young people, and adults who may be at risk very seriously, and work in partnership with the Diocese of Salisbury to ensure that they work in accordance with best practice at all times.
If you have any Safeguarding questions or concerns, or if you suspect abuse or are a victim of abuse, you can contact your Parish Safeguarding Officer, a member of clergy or the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser.
Safeguarding Training
All training is available on line but for those that are unable to attend, the team are holding safeguarding training sessions as follows:
Basic Safeguarding Training – Wednesday 24th June – St Mary’s Hall, Whaddon, 7pm start
Safeguarding Foundation Training – Wednesday 24th June – St Mary’s Hall, Whaddon – after the basics training has completed.
Safeguarding Domestic Abuse Training – Sunday 5th July – St Mary’s Hall, Whaddon – 10.30am – 12.30pm
